According to Ayurveda, yeast allergy is hypersensitivity of body towards yeast which leads to discomfort or in extreme case causes shock which can be fatal.Since every person has a different constitution(prakriti) so, a food allergen causing allergy to one can be completely normal to another. Usually, a bad digestion leads to Ama i.e. undigested food accumulation in the body. But for accumulation of Ama, the role of Jatharagni should be taken care of.Eat fresh, organic, seasonal foods and vegetables, refrain from consumption of processed and canned foods containing yeast as well as a big no-no to utilisation of dyes and chemicals containing yeast. This would keep the Jatharagni and digestion normal. It would also strengthen Agni and digestion, which further aids in preventing yeast allergy.
